2 men arrested in drug bust at McFerrin Park

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two men were arrested after officers searched a vehicle parked near McFerrin Park and found a box of drugs inside, officials said.

According to arrest documents, Corey Johnson, 31, and Kiyahn Hayes-Woods, 23, were arrested on Nov. 6.

The two men were reportedly sitting in a black Dodge Charger at McFerrin Park on Berry Street when they were approached by Metro Nashville Police Department investigators.

Authorities said the officers executed a search warrant on the Dodge, and reportedly found a box on the front passenger floorboard containing 43 individual bags of pills. Each of the bags contained an estimated 100 pills marked as oxycodone, court documents said. Officers also found 70 grams of marijuana along with baggies and two digital scales.

Both men are detained in Metro jail facing multiple felony drug and gun charges. Johnson’s bond is set at $116,000 and Hayes-Woods’ bond is $100,000.
