Learn about organizations that would be grateful to find a volunteer just like you to help them meet their goals from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Library Center.

The Coffeyville Bank Robbery: Last Ride of the Dalton Gang

The Dalton Gang knew about the failure of the Northfield Bank Robbery and how it destroyed the James-Younger Gang, but they thought they could do better. When they tried to knock off two banks at once in broad daylight, it didn’t go well and left only one member alive. Using photographs and animated maps, author and storyteller Tim Ritter will recount what happened and where at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Republic Branch Library.

Be a Reader-saurus!

Infants-age 6 can have fun roaring, stomping and chomping their way through books about our prehistoric pals! Stay after and try to spot all the hidden dinosaurs around the library. The fun begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Strafford Branch Library.
