HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – American Legion Post 351 in Elberfeld hosted its annual cannon to mark the start of Veterans Day.
After the cannon fires, the post will be open for the rest of the day. Officials are inviting the public to come out and honor veterans with them. There will be raffles, giveaways, drink specials and pizza. There will also be a dinner special starting at 2 p.m. featuring country fried steak, corn and mashed potatoes and gravy.
