Administrators with Walker County Schools and law enforcement are investigating an incident involving a school bus on Wednesday. Superintendent Damon Raines says a school bus driver was moving at a slow speed on Ridgeland High’s campus when the driver was forced to make an abrupt stop over an unexpected disruption. Raines said no injuries were reported to the driver at that time of the stop or during the bus route. Raines said injuries have been reported since the incident happened, which school officials are currently investigating. The name of the driver and details surrounding the “unexpected disruption” have not been released.
