JACKSON, Miss. – Entergy Mississippi has announced a major investment in the state’s energy future with the groundbreaking of the $1.2 billion Delta Blues Advanced Power Station in Greenville. The 754-megawatt facility, expected to be completed in 2028, will power 385,000 homes and significantly reduce carbon emissions through advanced combined-cycle combustion turbine and dual-fuel technology. The plant will be capable of supporting blended hydrogen as a fuel source alongside natural gas.
