Fire damages units at storage facility in southeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Firefighters extinguished a fire at a storage facility in southeast Albuquerque. The fire broke out around 10 p.m. on Saturday at the Extra Space Storage on Eubank Blvd. near Central Ave.

The fire was contained in several units on the second floor, but several items were heavily damaged or destroyed. Albuquerque Fire Rescue identified the cause as “accidental/unknown.”
