Set to feature millions of lights, several massive drive-thru ‘holiday lights’ displays will soon be open to visit in the Denver metro area, found at three locations this year including the addition of a display at Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Now in its seventh year in the Mile High City, the ‘ Christmas in Color ‘ experience will be lighting the way for drivers at Federal Heights’ Water World, Morrison’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora. The addition of a Red Rocks display follows a shift away from last year’s display at Morrison’s Bandimere Speedway.
Each location features more than a million LED lights arranged in a variety of displays including tunnels and giant holiday-themed designs, billed as the ‘brightest show on Earth.’ The light shows are also synced up with holiday music, which can be accessed by tuning into the right channel on a vehicle’s radio.
The exhibits are open daily from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., priced at $35 for general admission on a per vehicle basis, with that price jumping to $40 on peak dates.
