Bonded longtime shelter dogs often passed over for adoption find their loving home together

The Greenville Humane Society in Greenville, South Carolina is one of the largest no-kill shelters in the southeast. It is at this shelter we originally met Rellie, a four-year-old retriever mix and Boone, a mixed breed pup with different colored eyes. It had been months at the shelter for the two lonely dogs, each with special needs, but the two of them made the best of their situations when they became best friends.
