MAGEE, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Magee police arrested an Oklahoma man after officers said they found drugs during a traffic stop.
The traffic stop occurred on Highway 49 South at Siloam Road on Saturday, November 9. An officer stopped the vehicle with no tag lights.

The officer reported smelling a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Investigators said the driver, Gavin Micah Bowen, of Oklahoma, was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and without proof of insurance.
Magee police said the officer discovered six pounds of marijuana, 10 bottles of THC-infused canna syrup and 83 THC vape cartridges inside the vehicle. Bowen was arrested and transported to the Magee Police Department.
Bowen was charged with trafficking a controlled substance, driving with license suspended, improper equipment, and no proof of insurance.
