SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Bargain shoppers will now have a little more time to browse at all of San Diego County’s Goodwill locations.
Starting on Monday, the county’s Goodwill stores will now open for business one hour earlier every day — at 9 a.m. On Sundays, hours will also be extended later into the evening, closing now at 7 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.
These changes impact each of the more than two dozen Goodwill locations across the county, giving people more time to shop the retail chain’s second-hand clothing and décor. Donation hours are expected to remain the same for all locations.

“Visit us to shop sustainably and support our mission,” the nonprofit wrote in a post on Instagram announcing the updated hours.
Goodwill of San Diego County is one of the biggest nonprofits in the region for consignment, pairing thrifting with its mission to bring jobs and employment training to those who often experience barriers to work.
