An Erie Museum is debuting a new exhibit on Sunday, inviting the community to check out the 100th anniversary of an Erie staple.
The Hagen History Center held its last free day of the year on Sunday, unveiling a new exhibit celebrating 100 years of the Erie Zoo.
NPAA celebrates 50 years of artistic expression at Mercyhurst
The exhibit opened on the top floor of the history center, showcasing zoo memorabilia and the history of one of Erie’s favorite family attractions.
Adam Macrino, the history center’s director of visitor experience, said the new exhibit adds to the museum’s wide range of history.

“You get a little bit of everything. You get history about Erie. You get national history, and it’s in a beautiful setting. It inspires you. It makes you want to come back,” said Macrino.
The Hagen History Center will be starting its “Victorian Holidays” season on Dec. 6 and transforming its campus for the holiday season.
