Norfolk, Va. (WGHP) — When men and women join the US Military, they make a commitment to do something bigger than themselves.
That commitment requires sacrifice, training and a lot of hard work.
Late last month, FOX8 Evening News Anchor Katie Nordeen was invited to participate in the Sailor for a Day Program through the United States Fleet Forces Command.
Her four-day trip with the US Navy included interviewing hometown heroes and real-life training.
