FORT MYERS, Fla. – We are, once again, watching the Caribbean Sea for potential tropical development this week. The National Hurricane Center is monitoring an area of disturbed weather south of Hispaniola this morning. Per the NHC, the is a high chance that the system will develop into a tropical depression over the next 7 days as it drifts westward into the western Caribbean Sea. If it were to take a name, the next name on this year’s list would be Sara.
