Off-duty NYC Department of Education employee arrested in Manhattan

MANHATTAN (PIX11) — An off-duty New York City employee was arrested in Manhattan Monday afternoon, according to the NYPD.

Elijah Watt was taken into custody around 12:45 p.m.

The 22-year-old is an employee of the New York City Department of Education, police say. Watt was charged with grand larceny, identity theft, and criminal possession of stolen property.
