AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person is dead after a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian happened in southeast Austin on Monday, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media .
ATCEMS medics said they responded to the crash shortly around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Montopolis Drive and Crumley Lane. That’s near South Highway 183.
One person struck by the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene, according to medics.
Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area or seek alternate routes. No other details were released Monday.
