AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person died after a crash on southbound Interstate 35 at Braker Lane on Tuesday morning, according to the Austin Police Department. The crash happened on I-35 between E. Braker Lane and E. Rundberg Lane.
The victim in the crash was struck by a vehicle, according to Austin-Travis County EMS .
All lanes on the southbound side of the interstate were closed for several hours due to the crash but reopened around 8:30 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation .

Police did not say whether the vehicle involved in the crash stayed on the scene.
