The Tennessee Vols are reportedly one of several programs that’s reached out to 2025 five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas.
Thomas has been committed to Florida State for nearly a year, but his commitment status is in doubt after Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell fired offensive line coach Alex Atkins this past week.
According to On3 , LSU, Florida, Miami, Georgia, Ohio State, and Tennessee are the schools that have reached out to Thomas recently.
Thomas told On3 that LSU and Florida are the two programs with the best chance of flipping his commitment, though he was quick to make it known that he’s still committed to Florida State.
“I’m going to say LSU and Florida as two schools that have a chance if the cards are played correct,” said Thomas to On3. “But I’m sticking with Florida State.”
Thomas, 6-foot-4/315 lbs from Jacksonville, FL, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 4 player in the state of Florida. He’s also rated as the No. 23 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
