Walz says Minnesota working to eliminate veteran homelessness

(Arden Hills, MN) — Governor Tim Walz says Minnesota is making significant progress to end veteran homelessness in the state. But Walz told hundreds gathered at the State Veterans Day ceremony there is more work to be done to support our veterans. He says we need to make sure if they’re going to serve, they come to the welcome and the services they deserve. The governor also visited the Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis to thank fellow veterans. Walz said there is no politics involved in their care and these legislators in Minnesota prove that.
