Good News: Tulsa barbershop offers free haircuts to Veterans

TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa barbershop is giving free haircuts to Veterans all week to thank them for their service.

When you first walk into Toms Men’s Haircuts, the first thing you see is a giant American flag.

“Our motto is look good, feel good, do good,” said owner Justin Moore.

Making people look good is their thing. For veterans and active military members, they can get a clean cut for free. It’s the barbershops way of giving back to those who sacrifice so much.

“We’re super grateful for that, that they are able to do that to give us the opportunity to live here in America and express the rights that we do have,” said Moore.

In the past, owner Justin Moore says he’s only done the free haircuts on Veteran’s Day. But for the third year in a row, his shop is doing it all week.

Moore says he’s expecting close to 200 people.

“It’s spreading, it’s growing. We’re doubling how many people we saw. The first year 50 people, the second year about a hundred, and this year we could see up to 200,” said Moore.
