After a mild start to the week yesterday, today will feel much more like November! A weak front will push through early today with a few clouds. By this afternoon, skies should be mostly sunny and it will be gusty. Expect highs to be in the lower 50s, not much warmer than they are right now. Wind gusts will be over 30 mph at times today. Welcome to jacket weather! By tonight, the winds will back off, and combined with clear skies, temperatures will freefall. Lows tomorrow morning will be in the 20s for many backyards! The rest of tomorrow will be sunny and chilly with highs around 50°. It will be less breezy tomorrow at least.
Clouds will increase Wednesday night as the next front pushes eastward. Thursday will feature plenty of clouds and chilly temperatures thanks to easterly flow and cold air damming. Thanks to that easterly flow, temperatures will be stuck in the 40s and some showers are looking more likely for the second half of the day. While it won’t be much rain again, something is still better than nothing. 0.25″ seems like the ceiling for Thursday’s rain. Friday and the weekend look more pleasant and temperatures warm back up a bit with highs near 60° by Saturday and Sunday.
