(WNY News Now) – A Saturday evening stabbing on Syracuse’s North Side left a 57-year-old man injured but in stable condition, prompting police to seek public assistance. On the evening of Saturday, November 9, 2024, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Syracuse Police officers responded to a reported stabbing near the intersection of South Alvord Street and Butternut Street. Upon arrival, officers found a 57-year-old male suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen. The man was promptly transported to University Hospital by American Medical Response, where medical personnel determined his injuries were non-life-threatening.
