RICHARDSON (1080 KRLD)- Early Tuesday morning, the water main break at Arapaho Road and Greenville Avenue was repaired after Richardson reported another water issue, which had caused the intersection to be shut down.
Now, all workers have cleared the area and all directions are open to traffic.
Several days after a major issue in Richardson forced many to boil their water, the city had another water issue. This time, it is a big water main break.
The break happened around 3 Monday afternoon, and then the city was forced to shut down the intersection of Arapaho Road and Greenville Avenue. Many were worried on how long it would take to fix it.
Last week an issue with water pressure levels at one of Richardson’s water towers led the city to hand out bottled water and even close several schools for a day.
