There’s a little bit of everything coming at Oregon weather-wise this week and into the weekend.
Multiple wind warnings for conditions that could bring down power lines and spark outages are forecast for the Willamette Valley and Oregon Coast, while heavy rain could bring minor flooding and some snow is forecast in the Cascade mountains.
Wind advisory issued for Willamette Valley
A wind advisory has been issued for the Willamette Valley from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Winds between 20 to 25 mph are forecast, with guests up to 45 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Portland.
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the National Weather Service said .
Wind warning issued for Oregon Coast
A high wind warning has been issued for the Oregon Coast from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Winds between 30 to 40 mph are forecast, with guests up to 60 mph, according to NWS.
