ARMA, Kan. – A number of nursing home residents in southeast Kansas will soon be blanketed with love and blankets. Two hundred thirty lap blankets have all either been hand-crocheted or hand-knitted by a group of 12 ladies. The women are part of a club, ranging in age from 35 to 85, and have been doing this now for a couple of years. All of the blankets were collected during their meeting today at the Arma City Library and will be delivered to residents of area nursing homes.
