Sonoma County is set to introduce seven new all-electric transit buses into its public transportation fleet. The Board of Supervisors has approved the purchase to phase out older natural gas-powered buses that have passed their prime. These electric newcomers, slated for delivery in November 2026, aim to massively reduce emissions and modernize the county’s transit system.
