Florida has no shortage of places to get fried chicken cooked in a variety of ways. I’ve written about newcomers like Chick N Max, but there are also traditional choices like FKC and Popeye’s. Unfortunately, one chicken restaurant in this category – a Church’s in St. Petersburg, Florida – was recently temporarily shut down after a state inspection.
About Church’s In Florida: This eatery’s website says that it serves the “authentically unique flavor of Texas” and has been doing so for seven decades. (This may be why it is being rebranded as Church’s Texas Chicken.)
