‘It’s an eyesore’: Twin smokestacks may finally come down after decades of not being used

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – For 70 years, the twin smokestacks of the West Fork Incinerator have loomed over South Cumminsville. After sitting idle for decades, city leaders are hopeful about a new plan to demolish the smokestacks and clean up the area. Derrick Feagin, president of the South Cumminsville Community Council, described the building as an eyesore.
