Shooting caught on video because man was under federal surveillance

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) – A man accused of firing over two dozen shots during an argument over trash was under federal surveillance in a drug trafficking case. The Federal Bureau of Investigation charged Ira Roberts, 45, with conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. Roberts was arrested late last month in connection with a shooting at an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Camp Chase Drive.
