MARTA, City of Atlanta move forward with $230M ‘transformation’ of Five Points station

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A $230 million renovation of MARTA’s Five Points station will move forward after a four-month pause, MARTA officials said Wednesday. MARTA is advancing its original Five Points Transformation Project “with a slight modification” after reaching an agreement with Mayor Andre Dickens and the City of Atlanta to keep the station entrance on Forsyth Street open during most of the construction work.
