Several roads to close this weekend for Richmond Marathon

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is asking drivers to be aware of upcoming road closures and no parking zones across the city late this week and this weekend.

According to the department, the following streets in Richmond will be closed between 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16:

First female Richmond Marathon announcer gives advice to runners before race day

All vehicles parked along the race course will be towed at 9 p.m. on Friday. For towing inquiries, call Seibert’s Towing at 804-233-5757.

The marathon begins at 7 a.m., the half marathon begins at 7:15 and the 8k run begins at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16. More information can be found here .
