SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Her driveway didn’t look like some of her neighbors. She asked City Utilities to replace it in the spring following a gas main renewal project. She has a new driveway. The issue is settled. Arlene Chriswell was one of the many property owners in the path of a gas main renewal project in south Springfield. CU crews tore up the end of her driveway and patched it with asphalt. The plan was to then pour concrete over it. You might recall Chriswell said no thanks.
