Police say the person who attacked an MTA operator earlier this month is still at large. The attack happened back on Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. at the New Lots Avenue subway station. Police say a 58-year-old operator saw a man smoking marijuana on a No. 3 train platform. When he asked the suspect to stop smoking, he was punched in the face multiple times. The attacker then took off on the train. The operator was brought to the hospital and has since made a full recovery. The incident comes just weeks after MTA operator Myran Pollack was
stabbed in the stomach and leg
by a commuter at the Utica Avenue station. Pollack is recovering after initially being placed in a medically induced coma due to his injuries. ”
