Arlington is the site of E-Space, a worldwide pioneer in satellite manufacturing and telecommunications, which has North American headquarters in the city. Originally set to terminate a lease by August 29, 2024, issues resulted in an extension until April 30, 2025. With hopes to generate over 3,355 jobs over the next 30 years, the company intends to be rather visible close to Arlington Municipal Airport. This development is a part of a larger initiative involving a public-private partnership that aims to construct a 750,000-square-foot facility, which is anticipated to generate an additional 2,000 jobs over the next decade.
