MINT HILL, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A deadly shooting investigation is underway Thursday morning near Mint Hill.
The incident occurred near 8700 Auburn Whisper Lane in east Charlotte and near Mint Hill, just outside of the I-485 loop.

Medic said the initial call was for two people shot and that one person was pronounced dead on the scene and another was transported to an area medical center with life-threatening injuries.
