KANSAS CITY -Law enforcement are investigating after fire crews in Kansas City encountered gunfire on the way to a call. Just before noon Wednesday, while responding to a call at 55th and Prospect, a Kansas City Fire Department pumper drove into the vicinity of gun fire while heading to their call, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
