Dallas Mayor Eric L. Johnson and the All Stars Project, Inc. have announced a transformative partnership aimed at setting a national standard for youth and workforce development. The initiative will expand the Dallas Works Summer Employment Program, offering underserved youth valuable paid internships and career-building opportunities.
“Dallas is a city of opportunity for all,” said Mayor Johnson. “With Dallas Works, we help our city’s youth unlock their potential. Partnering with the All Stars Project will allow us to create a top-tier internship program that uplifts our youth and strengthens our local economy.”
Launched in 2020, Dallas Works is Mayor Johnson’s flagship workforce development program. Each summer, it offers young people internship experiences, career training, and recruitment opportunities, impacting hundreds of lives in Dallas.
In 2025, Dallas Works, together with the All Stars Project, plans to place over 100 young people from underserved communities in internships with local businesses and nonprofits. The All Stars Project will enhance the program by connecting youth to performance-based learning and development opportunities.
