SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3)-Ozarks Food Harvest is experiencing an increased demand for food this holiday season. “This year, we’ve actually seen the hunger rate increase. So, in the previous year, we were looking at one in seven children and adults facing hunger, and that’s now been upgraded to one in five children and one in six adults facing hunger, and that demand for food has just continued to increase over the past year,” said Jordan Browning, director of communications for Ozarks Food Harvest.
