Jamestown couple faces drug charges, accused of fleeing to Florida following shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown couple is facing a slew of accusations after allegedly fleeing the scene of a shooting and being in possession of multiple drugs, including over 60 grams of fentanyl, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.

Officials said a 911 call was placed in the early morning hours of Aug. 17 for a serious head injury on Victoria Avenue. A victim was found laying in a pool of blood at the bottom of the stairs, officials said. The victim, who survived, allegedly told police that someone named Billy had purchased a firearm from 38-year-old Jensen Vazquez prior to the apparent shooting.

Vazquez was found coming down the stairs from an upper apartment while 29-year-old Kylah Seiberg was found on a side porch, according to officials. It is alleged that Vazquez suggested his e-bike was stolen in connection with the shooting.

The couple allegedly fled the scene before a search warrant was completed. The e-bike, ammunition and narcotics including fentanyl, meth and cocaine were recovered. A handgun was recovered from Seiberg’s vehicle, officials said.
