DENVER ( KDVR ) — Police in Aurora are still investigating a deadly shooting that happened last month and they are asking the public for information.
The shooting happened on Oct. 12 in the 1900 block of Kingston Street. The Aurora Police Department said a resident found a man lying in the street with a gunshot wound and called 911 around 2:45 p.m.
The victim, identified by the Adams County Coroner’s Office as Mario Arturo Lopez-Alvarado, 26, was pronounced dead after he was taken to a hospital.

The police department said in a post on X that no one has been arrested and there is no suspect information. Homicide detectives are now seeking information from the public.
Detectives want to speak with anyone familiar with the victim to get information about his activities in the days leading up to the shooting.
Additionally, police are asking people who live around East 19th Avenue and Kingston Street to look at any surveillance camera footage from Oct. 12, and to contact police if they find any video of the shooting or any suspicious activity.
