Ohio man killed in Fultondale crash

FULTONDALE, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on I-65 in Fultondale Thursday afternoon.

According to Fultondale Fire Chief Justin McKenzie, there was one vehicle involved and one fatality. James Aaron Christopher Lusk, 57, of Seven Hills, Ohio, was killed when the 2025 Nissan Rogue he was driving left the roadway and struck a barrier. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information is available at this time. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
