Nashville masseuse wanted for 2020 rape arrested in Alabama

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville masseuse accused of a 2020 rape is now behind bars after he was arrested in Alabama, officials said.

The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said 64-year-old Xiuwen Li was indicted on three counts of rape after he allegedly touched a 25-year-old woman inappropriately during a massage at Wellness Reflexology at the Mall at Green Hills in October 2020.

Man charged for hidden camera recordings, police say

However, the business reportedly closed two months after the incident, which made it hard for officers to locate Li, whose last known address was the Opry Mills Mall.

On Thursday, Nov. 14, MNPD announced that Li had been returned to Nashville found after he was recently arrested in Huntsville.
