(WFRV) – Project VOTE of Brown County announced the winners of its Voter Challenge trophies on Thursday morning.
The nonpartisan group’s goal is to increase informed voter turnout and awareness in Brown County. The Voter Challenge is part of their mission to do so, and it’s a competition amongst towns and cities in Brown County encouraging voters to show up for elections.

The Gold Division winner was the Village of Allouez, which saw 91.4% of its 9,207 registered voters cast their votes in the general election. The Gold Division consisted of municipalities that had a population of 10,000 or higher, while the Green Division was less than 10,000.
Green Bay saw about 82.9% of its 57,544 registered voters cast a ballot. The Green Division was won by Wrightstown, which saw 92.63% of its 1,412 registered voters make their voices heard.
