KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Monday marked six years since Tamela Moore was shot and killed in Knoxville.
Moore’s case is one of many listed on Knoxville Police Department’s unsolved murders list. She died following a shooting on Speedway Circle on on November, 11, 2018.

KPD officers responded to the scene of the shooting in the 3700 block of Speedway Circle at Calvin Street just after 10 p.m. that night. There, they found Moore, who had been shot. She was taken to UT Medical Center where she later died.
Moore celebrated her 22nd birthday the week before the shooting. One of her friends shared with 6 News that she had a 1-year-old son who she loved more than anything.
Knoxville Police confirmed to 6 News that the case is still open and under investigation.
