Major construction is set to change the face of downtown Oklahoma City with the arrival of a nearly $1 billion arena, but not without some inconveniences. Starting Jan. 1, Prairie Surf Studios will move out of the old Cox Convention Center, and demolition is set to begin in March to make way for the new arena. The building, which has stood between Sheridan and Reno since 1972, will come down over a period of six to nine months.
