CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Rewind the clock back a couple years, and you could buy a single-family home in Clarksville for $100,000 less than today. Even with the higher price tag, first-time buyers still see Clarksville as an attractive market.
Realtor Marie Nino-Duenas is similar to a lot of folks in Clarksville. Fort Campbell Army base brought her family here, but the life they envisioned building in Clarksville motivated them to put down roots. And home prices were a big part of that decision.
“We also see families moving from California, Florida, Georgia — all of these other states coming into Clarksville because it’s much cheaper and a lot more affordable housing out here,” said Nino-Duenas with Blue Cord Realty.
Antioch home prices below Nashville median
According to census.gov , for years, from 2018 to 2022, the median price of a single-family home in Clarksville was $213,200. But, in a couple years, that price has gone up.
“The median price, I would say, is close to around $330,000. This home is currently listed at $320,000.”
