Man arrested in Wisconsin after allegedly pushing bartender, refusing to pay tab

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) — A 25-year-old man was arrested in Wisconsin on Wednesday night after allegedly pushing a bartender, refusing to pay his tab, and threatening officers.

According to a release , the Madison Police Department responded to the 600 block of University Avenue in Madison for a disturbance at a bar just after 11 p.m.

A preliminary investigation revealed the man pushed a bartender and refused to pay his tab. He allegedly left the bar before officers arrived but was located nearby.

Once in custody, the 25-year-old began making threats toward the officers. He was booked into the Dane County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct, threats to law enforcement, and fraud to a hotel/restaurant keeper.
