‘Brentioch’ gives buyers access to Williamson County without the sticker shock

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Brentwood is one of the priciest zip codes in Tennessee to buy a home. But just a few miles away in Antioch, the price tag is hundreds of thousands of dollars less. And, smack dab in the middle of both is a region realtors call “Brentioch.”

Antioch runs along Interstate 24, while Brentwood straddles I-65. And, the area in between has been nicknamed “Brentioch.”

“Sometime in the 90s, somebody coined the phrase ‘Brentioch’ blending the two. Because they do kinda blend. And it just stuck. And it’s been ‘Brentioch’ ever since. And those who know, know exactly what area you’re talking about when you say it,” said Leneiva Head, principal broker/owner of Welcome Home Realty .

If there’s one word to describe “Brentioch,” Head said it’s access.

A home in “Brentioch” gives buyers access to all that Williamson County offers, including CoolSprings Galleria, downtown Franklin and beautiful parks, without having to pay full price.
