FORT MOORE, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) and the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade are hosting the 34th annual Tower Lighting ceremony on Fort Moore.

The MCoE says the event is free to the public and will be from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Dec. 6, at Eubanks Field on Fort Moore.

The event celebrates the holidays and allows attendees from both the installation and the surrounding communities to get a better understanding of the units, soldiers and the mission of the MCoE and Fort Moore.

MCoE says the 34th iteration of the event plans on featuring multiple activities and means of entertainment. Notable activities include a reptile show, a military working dog demonstration, music by the MCoE band, food trucks and a 34-foot tower jumps.

The Silver Wings perform a day and night jump parachute demonstration, and the celebration will culminate with a countdown to the 250-foot tower lighting.
