22-year-old wanted for first-degree murder in Denver; reward offered

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Denver police are looking for a 22-year-old wanted for first-degree murder.

According to a bulletin from the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, police are still searching for 22-year-old Kervin Jose Mota, also known as “Cuerito.” He is wanted on first-degree murder charges stemming from an incident on Aug. 25.

According to Denver police, the murder took place at 2:23 a.m. in the 4400 block of South Syracuse Street, a parking lot west of Cherry Creek Reservoir in the Hampden South neighborhood.

It has been nearly three months, and police are asking for information on his whereabouts.

Anyone who may have information or who may have witnessed the crime is asked to call the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
