Historic downtown McKinney is officially in the holiday spirit with the installation of a stunning 35-foot frosted fir Christmas tree. Arriving from Michigan, this tree is the centerpiece of downtown’s holiday transformation. According to the city, the tree’s arrival and display were made possible by contributions from the local community and the support of corporate sponsor H-E-B. Previously, a campaign offered families and organizations the opportunity to be recognized at the tree display with a tax-deductible donation of $35.
